Where Are the Real Journalists?

In the wake of the Connecticut school shooting, the role played by the news media is a curious one. Are we being given enough objective facts that we can draw our own, informed, conclusions?

Or are we being deliberately steered in a direction that’s not of our choosing?

One of the primary functions of a free press is to ask the tough questions and to prize truth over propaganda. But more often than not, our news media is playing a very different role. Check out this article by Jon Rappoport about how our news media works to promote the acceptance of official opinion rather than behaving like actual journalists.

Why can’t we be trusted to use our own judgement, not only about what to think, but also about how we should feel concerning events in the news? Are we being brainwashed?

Thankfully, there are still a few real journalists left. Ben Swann is one of the few remaining reporters who possesses the integrity and courage to ask what others will not. Here is an excellent example of Ben separating the emotion from fact on the issue of the day.

One of the biggest challenges of our day is to capable of seeing our world as it really is. If you’re getting your worldview from the major news media, chances are that you’re only seeing what someone else wants you to see.
