Where Are the Real Journalists?

In the wake of the Connecticut school shooting, the role played by the news media is a curious one. Are we being given enough objective facts that we can draw our own, informed, conclusions?

Or are we being deliberately steered in a direction that’s not of our choosing?

One of the primary functions of a free press is to ask the tough questions and to prize truth over propaganda. But more often than not, our news media is playing a very different role.
