Cars that Get the Most and Least Tickets

Post 132 of 190

If you drive a Lexus ES300, you might want to slow down. And don’t even think of running a yellow light that’s close to turning red. Drivers of this Lexus sedan get ticketed more than drivers of any other model car, according to a survey by Insurance.com. Call it a ticket magnet. While the most frequently ticketed vehicles include a variety of economy and luxury cars, the cars with the lowest percentage of tickets are generally more expensive vehicles, such as the Buick Encore (3 percent), Lexus IS350 (3 percent), Acura ILX (6 percent) and Cadillac ATS (6 percent). To come up with these numbers, Insurance.com reviewed insurance claim and traffic violation data from 331 models and more than 323,000 recent customers between January 1, 2014 and February 1.
